Barbera D'Alba d.o.c., 1998
Rich and concentrated, very elegant. Ripe fruit nose, smooth, full-bodied and long finish. Aged on wood to give balance.
Dolcetto D'Alba d.o.c. 1999 87 rating Wine & Spirits Mag.
Classic ruby red with violet reflections. Rich, brambly fruit nose with very attractive vinosity behind it. Up-front on the palate, firm tannins right through to the finish.
Barbaresco d.o.c. 1997 87 rating Wine & Spirits Mag.
Attractively fresh, with hints of mint and basil on a good ground of berries. Long, concentrated finish with a bouquet that develops aromas of plums, tar and roses. It has considerable finesse despite the presence of abundant tannins.
Barolo d.o.c.g., 1996 91 rating, Tasting Magazine
Tasting Magazine says: Brilliant ruby garnet hue. Intensely spicy, perfumed aromas show a big oak influence. A lean entry leads to a nervous, high-toned, medium-bodied palate with racy acidity. Really well structured, with grippy tannins through the finish. More international flavors allied to a traditional structure. Best with mid-term cellaring."

The color is garnet red, with orange reflections. Pleasant and intense on the nose with hints of roses and violets. The taste is dry, austere, but velvety and aromatic. Recommended with meat, game and cheese.
