From the oldest vines (30 years) of the ancient Tenuta, this superb Chianti Classico undergoes 2 years in barriques to nurture a smooth, velvety taste. It is deeply colored and intensively perfumed.

Vine: 80% Sangiovese, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Ageing: 2 years in Barriques

Gastronomy: pasta, mixed grills and fresh cheeses

 

 

 

Chianti Classico

Riserva La Madonnina

Only the most mature grapes are used to produce this elegant Chianti. Two years in oak barrels of medium capacity and six month fining in the bottles qualify it to become reserve. Stout in color and body, its nose hints of prunes and oak. A fine marriage of harmony and smoothness.

Vine: 95% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo

Ageing: 8-10 years

Chianti Classico

Bello Stento

Richly colored, full-bodied and savory on the palate. Aged in barrels of medium capacity to reach perfect balance. The mineral-rich soil brings to it a power and complexity uncommon in other Chiantis.

Vine: San Giovese 90%,  Canaiolo 5%, Trebbiano 5% and a touch of Malvasia.

Ageing: 4 - 5 years

Gastronomy: pastas, mixed grills and fresh cheeses.

SuperTuscan

Il Mandorlo

A hearty blend of the intense fruit and color of Cabernet united exquisitely with the Tuscan native variety. Barrique-aged for an entrancing match of opposing flavors, berries and herbs. Warm and long-lasting finish.

Vine: Cabernet Sauvignon 70%, Sangiovese 30%

Ageing: 11-13 years

Gastronomy: red meat, roast, mature cheese

                 

 Tenuta Santa Venere

Vino Nobile di Montepulciano

Elegant, warm and persistent, inky and robust, and of supple smoothness. Superbly complete.

Vine: Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese)95%, Canaiolo 5%

Ageing: 10-12 years

Gastronomy: red meats, roasts and chesees
